Courses
Each course below corresponds to a full academic school year. These are detailed courses that will teach your student everything they need in order to thrive in the field of math!
6th grade common core
Number concepts, including basic operations and intergers
Communicate math using diagrams and words
Modeling and solving equations using ratios and rates
Introduction to geometric shapes and the 3D world
Note: This class will also help students prepare for the math placement test to bridge over 6th grade math
7th grade common core
Gain knowledge of functions with relation to algebra and graphs.
Modeling slope as a rate of change, writing, solving, and graphing linear equations, identifying and expressing trends
Explain how to solve problems and how to read outcomes clearly
Examine the ideas that are offered both verbally and graphically.
8th grade common core
From a variety of physical, numerical, and verbal descriptions, create algebraic models.
Utilize a variety of techniques to solve equations.
Justify responses with exact mathematical language.
Relationship between constant rate of change and mathematical, physical, and linguistic models
Utilize technology to find solutions
Strengthen and expand your knowledge of statistics and probability
Algebra I
Recognize the characteristics of real numbers.
formalize the functional language
Examine verbal, numerical, visual, analytic, and other functions.
Create equations, inequalities, and expressions from physical models.
Utilize technology to identify connections, validate hypotheses, and resolve issues
Officially and informally express their mathematical understanding.
Algebra II / Trigonometry
Create a functional algebra using operations, composition, and inverses.
Examine instances where exponential and logarithmic functions are involved.
Work with verbal, numerical, graphical, and analytic functions.
Study optimization issues
The relative rates of change of exponential and linear functions are compared.
Learn the idea of an infinite sum as the maximum of all possible partial sums.
Utilize the normal, curve, and data modeling when working with statistics in numerical summaries and calculations.
Teaching or Tutoring?
Teaching or tutoring; What's the difference?
In a teaching course, our instructors will teach your student will learn everything there is to know about what they signed up for
One of our courses corresponds to a full school-year-long math course
Each of our courses are made to finish within a 6-month timespan
In a tutoring, your child can book hourly sessions with us
There is no set schedule. Your child can come to us whenever they need help
In a tutoring session, our tutors can:
Help your child refresh on concepts before a test
Reteach them things they don't understand
Provide practice problems to ensure proper understanding
